Alexandria Wynter Russell, MS, CCC-SLP, is a medical speech-language pathologist & private practice owner of The Wynter Wellness Group. She is proud to be the only Black, woman-owned SLP practice in Philadelphia that solely serves the adults & senior population. Her journey as a caregiver to her dad with Parkinson's, specifically helping her parents navigate the healthcare system through COVID-19, inspired her to begin her private practice. Her practice centers around five central values: advocacy, health literacy, nutrition, mental health, and community. Celebrating her work in the Philadelphia community, Alex was recently featured in the Lingraphica documentary Witnessing Their Words and recently named an ASHA Innovator. As a healthcare provider, caregiver & entrepreneur – her mission is to help you become a confident advocate and find your version of balance.
