Amanda Schaumburg
MS, CCC-SLP
Amanda Schaumburg, MS, CCC-SLP, is a Texas-based speech-language pathologist and the founder of a private practice that provides school contracts, private therapy services, animal-assisted therapy, consultations, staff training, and public speaking engagements. Her clinical background spans schools, outpatient clinics, early childhood intervention programs, and rehabilitation settings. Amanda is also a children’s book author and the creator behind Panda Speech LLC, an online store offering practical and engaging educational resources for busy SLPs. Her work reflects a commitment to empowering clinicians with tools that support meaningful, evidence-based therapy. Beyond her professional roles, Amanda is deeply involved in her community. She serves on a local tennis association board, volunteers with scouting programs, and coaches for Special Olympics (track and swimming) and Kids Inc., an inclusive sports league. She also sits on the Board of Smiles for Speech, a nonprofit dedicated to providing therapy services, resources, and training to underserved communities worldwide. Amanda lives with her husband, three sons, and two beloved Boston Terriers, Fannie and Dottie. Dottie plays an active role in Amanda’s animal-assisted therapy sessions and classroom visits throughout their local community.
