Amanda Sloop, AuD, CCC-A, is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Medicine. She serves as a research audiologist in the UNC Cochlear Implant (CI) Clinical Research Lab, where her team investigates the effectiveness of CI use in emerging patient populations and develops individualized mapping techniques for CI users.
Dr. Sloop is passionate about delivering high-quality audiologic care to the adult CI population, exploring the intersections of audiology and social health, and creating community-based solutions to reduce barriers to accessible audiologic care in underserved areas. Unlimited
