Anais Villaluna, SLPD, CCC-SLP, BCS-S, CLC, is a trilingual speech-language pathologist, board-certified specialist in swallowing and swallowing disorders, and certified lactation counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Science (2006) and Master of Science (2008) from Texas Woman’s University and is currently pursuing her Clinical Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology at Northwestern University.
Anais practices across a range of pediatric hospital settings—including outpatient, acute care, NICU, PICU, and specialty clinics—at Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands, collaborating closely with gastroenterology and otolaryngology teams. A published author and frequent presenter at TSHA and ASHA Conventions, she shares her expertise nationally and virtually across platforms.
As co-lead of the Pediatric Committee for the IDDSI USIRG, Anais focuses on the implementation of thickened liquids in pediatric care. She also volunteers with Feeding Matters, serving as Committee Chair for the Physician Outreach Project within the PFD Alliance to expand access to resources for families and professionals.
