Bria Long PhD
Dr. Bria Long studies how humans learn to derive meaning from visual experience, particularly how visual concepts form and change across development. Her work combines behavioral research with infants, children, and adults, naturalistic recordings of children’s everyday environments, and computational modeling. Before joining UC San Diego, she spent seven years in Michael Frank’s Language & Cognition Lab at Stanford and completed her Ph.D. at Harvard working across the Harvard Vision Lab and Laboratory for Developmental Studies.
