Britney Desir (she/her), MS, CCC-SLP, began her career at the age of 21, practicing speech therapy in the school system for five years. She later transitioned to providing skilled speech-language services in skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, private practice, and home health. She graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders and earned a master’s in the same field shortly thereafter.
Her private practice, Therapeutic Endeavors LLC, serves clients across settings in Florida. Britney is also an administrator for SLP Private Practice in Color, a group that provides resources, consultations, and mentorship for therapists on their private practice journeys.
Britney is married with two amazing little boys, one of whom inspired her interest in early intervention due to his premature birth. She has both personal and professional experience overcoming challenges caused by developmental delays.
In addition to her passion for early intervention, Britney also has a strong interest in geriatrics and in helping adults who may suffer from the effects of strokes, traumatic brain injuries, dysphagia, or other debilitating conditions.
