Caitlin Saxtein, M.S., CCC-SLP, BCS-S, CBIS, is a speech-language pathologist with over a decade of experience working in acute care. She also has experience in settings throughout the continuum of care, including subacute rehabilitation, outpatient, and home health. Caitlin values continuing education and volunteering. She received the ASHA ACE Award 13x and was nominated for Peconic Bay Medical Center President’s Award: Extraordinary Impact in 2023 and Eastern Region Team Member of the Year in 2024. Caitlin recently traveled to Ukraine on a medical mission with the Face-to-Face Program to provide therapeutic intervention and education. She is an active member of local, state, and national SLP organizations. She has been selected to present at the local, state, national, and international levels, as well as a guest speaker on podcasts. Caitlin is passionate about providing support, knowledge, and empowerment to honor what matters most at the end of life; thus recently completed coursework through the University of Vermont to receive an End-of-Life Doula Professional Certificate. Caitlin also has an extensive background volunteering with East End Hospice and was nominated for the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) Volunteers are the Foundation of Hospice Award in 2021.
