Dr. Camille Thélin, MD, MSc, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of South Florida (USF), where she has served on the faculty since 2019. She is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the USF Neurogastroenterology & Motility Center, launched in 2024 to expand coordinated, multidisciplinary care for complex lower GI motility disorders. As part of this effort, she also helped establish USF’s in-house anorectal manometry program to improve access and continuity of care across the region. She also directs the USF Women’s Digestive Health Program and served as Program Director of the USF GI Fellowship from 2021 to 2025. Dr. Thélin earned her medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at LSU Health
Sciences Center, followed by a Gastroenterology fellowship at Tulane University. Her clinical and academic work focuses on neurogastroenterology and motility, including disorders of gut–brain interaction and women’s gastrointestinal health. Originally from France and Switzerland, Dr. Thélin is passionate about advancing equity in GI care and leadership development for women in medicine. She serves on national committees dedicated to women’s GI health and physician well-being, and outside of work enjoys Vinyasa yoga, gardening, swimming, and classical piano. Unlimited
