Dr. Carlos Irizarry Pérez (he/his) is an Assistant Professor in the University of New Mexico’s Speech and Hearing Sciences Department. He received his PhD in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests primarily focus on increasing access to equitable services for children with speech sound disorders. He is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
