Carol Koch, EdD, CCC-SLP, F-ASHA, BCS-CL, is a Professor at Samford University and a Board Certified Specialist in Child Language. Her clinical work has primarily focused on early intervention, particularly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and those with severe speech sound disorders, including childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).
Dr. Koch's research and teaching interests include early phonological development, speech sound disorders, and CAS. She is an ASHA Fellow and has been recognized for her contributions to the field. She is the author of the textbook Clinical Management of Speech Sound Disorders: A Case-Based Approach, and a co-author of Contrast Cues for Speech and Literacy and the “Box of” articulation therapy cue sets published by Bjorem Speech Publications.
