Carol A. Page, PhD, CCC-SLP, ATP, CBIS, is the Director of the South Carolina Assistive Technology Program (SCATP) at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. SCATP is housed within the Center for Disability Resources, a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities in the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Page also serves as Adjunct Faculty for USC’s Communication Sciences and Disorders and Education departments. She earned her PhD in speech-language pathology from the University of South Carolina, along with certifications as an Assistive Technology Professional (RESNA) and Brain Injury Specialist (Brain Injury Association of America). She provides trainings locally, nationally, and internationally on assistive technology for individuals of all ages with disabilities, as well as their caregivers and service providers. Her contributions have been recognized with the 2017 Norman J. Arnold Alumni Award from the USC School of Public Health and the 2017 Louis M. DiCarlo Award for Outstanding Clinical Achievement from the South Carolina Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
