Casey Rovinski, MEd, CCC-SLP, is a state-licensed, nationally certified pediatric speech-language pathologist, parenting coach, and founder of Speak Outside The Box (SOTB), a private practice based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Originally from Rochester, New York, Casey now lives with her soon-to-be husband, Zach, and their beloved pup, Mobi.
Casey’s work is rooted in a deep passion for supporting parents of autistic children. Her approach is shaped by years of witnessing the fierce dedication of caregivers who strive to do everything for their children—often without adequate support. She draws inspiration from the daily courage and love parents show as they re-engage with their child’s journey again and again.
At SOTB, Casey leads a team of eight pediatric therapists united by a mission of connection. The practice embraces a child-directed, developmental model that builds on each child’s interests and prioritizes functional needs. Their goal is to help children feel safe, successful, and empowered in their everyday environments. The team’s philosophy centers on acceptance over compliance and integrates neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed practices.
Casey’s coaching and mentorship are informed by conscious parenting models, spiritual psychology, embodiment work, sensory processing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma healing. She believes that a therapist or parent’s attunement to their own healing directly influences a child’s progress.
