Christa Likes, MSR, CCC-SLP, attended the University of South Carolina, where she majored in biology and medical ethics. She graduated as Valedictorian from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2002 with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Christa completed her clinical fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Bonnie Martin-Harris at MUSC in 2002. Her career has included roles at Spartanburg Regional Hospital and Duke University Hospital, where she focused on adult acute care and head and neck cancer. In 2010, she joined Greenville Ear, Nose and Throat Associates after relocating to the Upstate of South Carolina with her husband.
Christa specializes in the evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in patients with head and neck cancer. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, volunteering in the community, and traveling. Unlimited
