Christina, PhD, is a cognitive psychologist and director of the *LAMA (Language, Music, Attention, Audition) Lab*, where she investigates the perceptual, cognitive, and neural mechanisms underlying human communication—particularly through the lenses of music and language. Her research explores how individuals attend to communicative signals like speech and song in noisy, real-world environments, and how music can support language development, especially in those with Dyslexia.
She earned her PhD in Experimental Psychology (Human Development) from the *University of Nevada, Las Vegas* in 2016 and deepened her neuroscience expertise in EEG and MEG during her postdoctoral fellowship at the *University of Western Ontario* and as a visiting scholar at the *Donders Institute*. Christina’s work bridges auditory neuroscience and developmental psychology, advancing inclusive approaches to language learning through multisensory research. Unlimited
