Claire Martin, MEd, CCC-SLP, received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University in 2016 and her Master of Education in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of West Georgia in 2018. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Claire has experience working in public schools—elementary, middle, and high school—as well as in teletherapy. She currently works in the outpatient pediatric setting at The Speech and Language Center in Harrisonburg, VA. She enjoys working with patients with autism, early language delays, and multiple disabilities, and is continuing to develop her passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Claire recently became engaged to her fiancé, Mitch, in her favorite place—the Outer Banks. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her rescue pup. She also loves traveling, attending concerts, reading, exercising, and exploring the Shenandoah Valley. Unlimited
