Crystal Sanford, MEd, MA, CCC-SLP, ASDCS, is a speech-language pathologist, advocate, and entrepreneur dedicated to empowering Autism families. She is the owner, director, and lead advocate at the Sanford Autism Advocacy Group, LLC, a consulting practice founded in 2016 shortly after her first child was identified as autistic. Since then, Crystal has trained countless parents and caregivers to effectively advocate for the education and support their children deserve.
Crystal is the creator of the Crystal Clear IEP™ Course and the IEP Consultant Biz Builder Program™, digital platforms designed to expand special education knowledge among families and professionals. Her written work includes articles published through national Autism foundations, reflecting her commitment to accessible, informed advocacy.
With over 20 years of experience in public schools and private practice, Crystal continues to provide speech-language services through her second company, the Sanford Speech Therapy and Learning Center, Inc. Her team offers comprehensive communication evaluations, social skills groups, and more for students impacted by Autism.
Outside of her professional roles, Crystal enjoys spending unplugged time with her husband and two daughters in sunny San Diego, California. Her personal passions include walking for wellness, succulent gardening, and curling up with a good book. Unlimited
