Daina Flood MSIHCM, High-Acuity Full Spectrum Doula, Lamaze Educator in Training, PMH-C Candidate

Daina Flood, MSIHCM, CD, HA-FSD, is the Executive Director of The Nurtured Nest: Trauma Sensitive Doula Care, a high-acuity, trauma-informed perinatal doula practice serving Central Washington. She works with families navigating high-risk pregnancy, NICU stays, perinatal loss, and recovery from substance use and incarceration, and is developing the Center for Birth Equity and Workforce Development, a nonprofit focused on doula training and workforce development. Daina is a Lamaze Educator in Training and PMH-C Candidate, and has built clinical frameworks including Screen → Witness → Refer → Stay. Her work centers continuity of care for families across the full perinatal continuum, from crisis through the first year of life.
