Daj Mitchell, MS CCC-SLP, graduated from Governors State University with her Bachelor's in Speech-Language Pathology and a minor in Psychology. She received her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Illinois State University and holds a variety of certifications and awards, including, but not limited to, certification as a Lingraphica Technology Specialist, Level I and Level II Sensory certified, and a recipient of two successive ASHA ACE awards. Daj is both a school-based speech-language pathologist and the owner of a private practice, known for her passion for supporting caregivers and professionals. This includes her popular podcast, Co-Treat Corner, where she explores collaboration topics across healthcare. Known for engaging presentations on Neurodiversity-Affirming Care, Artificial Intelligence, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and Collaborative Care across Disciplines, she has educated and inspired thousands of caregivers and professionals across industry-leading events. Based in Central Illinois with her husband, Daj enjoys pilates, cooking, and traveling abroad.
