Elizabeth Perry
MS, CCC-SLP
Elizabeth Perry, MS, CCC-SLP, is the founder and director of Speech Therapy and Accent Group, a concierge speech and occupational therapy practice serving the San Francisco Bay Area. She is completing her Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology (SLPD) at Moravian University, with graduation anticipated in December 2026, and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA), also at Moravian University, with anticipated completion in summer 2027.
Elizabeth’s clinical expertise spans independent educational evaluations (IEEs), family-professional partnerships, Autism Spectrum Disorder, early intervention, accent modification and acquisition, and interpersonal communication. Her doctoral research explores caregivers’ lived experiences navigating the IEE process, with a particular focus on the experience of accessing this procedural safeguard following disagreement with a school district.
In addition to conducting IEEs, Elizabeth provides pro bono support to families navigating special education procedural safeguards, including the IEP and IEE processes and preparing complaints to state departments of education. She is particularly passionate about helping families understand their rights and helping professionals recognize how communication, trust, collaboration, and power dynamics shape families’ experiences within special education systems.
Elizabeth has taught evidence-based speech-language pathology principles both nationally and internationally and is committed to bridging research, clinical practice, and family advocacy. Outside of her professional and academic work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and five children.
