Dr. Emily Zimmerman, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Northeastern University, where she also serves as Associate Chair for Research and Innovation. She directs the *Speech and Neurodevelopment Lab (SNL)*, which focuses on developing assessments and therapeutic interventions to enhance suck, swallow, respiration, and overall neurodevelopmental outcomes.
Her research centers on multisensory approaches to improve oral feeding in preterm infants, with the goal of translating evidence-based strategies into meaningful clinical impact.
