Erica DelVal

Erica DelVal, MS, CCC-SLP, began her journey in speech-language pathology at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, where she earned her undergraduate degree in communicative disorders. She went on to complete her master’s degree in communicative disorders at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.
Following graduate school, Erica began her career with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools in Bakersfield, California, where she served for eight years across various districts and specialized classroom settings. She then joined Visalia Unified School District, also in California, where she has worked for the past 29 years. During this time, she also spent several years working after school in a private practice setting.
Although she has experience at the junior high and high school levels, Erica’s true passion lies in working with preschool and elementary-aged children. With 38 years of experience in the field, she reflects on the many changes she’s witnessed throughout her career and describes it as both great and fulfilling. Unlimited
