Erin Stehle Wallace, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an Assistant Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Longwood University. She earned her doctoral degree in Special Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020, following years of clinical experience as a speech-language pathologist across diverse settings—including public and private schools, private clinics, an audiology clinic, a school for children with autism, and home-based therapy.
Dr. Wallace is passionate about supporting early childhood and elementary-age children with language delays. Her research focuses on language-supportive strategies and their impact on child language outcomes, the intersection of language delay and challenging behaviors, and collaborative practices between speech-language pathologists and educators.
