Erin Elizabeth Milewski
MS, CCC-SLP
Erin Milewski is an elementary school-based speech-language pathologist with a passion for strengths-based, student-centered practice. She earned both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Marywood University and holds a Trauma-Informed Practice Certificate from Elizabethtown College. Erin has worked in the school setting throughout her career and is passionate about creating meaningful, inclusive communication opportunities that honor students’ strengths, interests, and individual ways of communicating. Her areas of professional interest include project-based learning, AAC and multimodal communication, literacy, social communication, and strengths-based practice.
In addition to her clinical work, Erin is a frequent contributor to the ASHA Leader, where she has written on topics related to school-based speech-language therapy and strengths-based practice. She has also developed and presented professional learning opportunities for educators and speech-language pathologists. Erin is committed to helping students recognize the power of their own voices and helping fellow SLPs reimagine what meaningful communication therapy can look like.
