Erin Gravino Jeffords, OTR/L, MS, PAMCO, CBIS, joined the faculty at Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2018 as an adjunct professor, teaching various labs and courses. In 2022, she became an assistant professor in the university’s occupational therapy department. As a clinician and educator, Jeffords has over 14 years of experience in occupational therapy within rehabilitation and community-based practice settings and is a certified brain injury specialist. Her recent clinical work includes participation in a home modification grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for SC Uplift. Jeffords is currently enrolled in a post-professional doctoral program at Thomas Jefferson University, where she is researching and developing a training program for volunteers to implement home safety screenings. A passionate community advocate for fall prevention, Jeffords regularly speaks to and educates older adults. She is also an active participant in Meals on Wheels. Her additional research interests include the social determinants of health and isolation across the lifespan. Jeffords resides in Columbia, South Carolina, where she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
