Fred Stal, MS, CCC-SLP, CBIS, is a certified speech-language pathologist practicing in New York City and the surrounding area. He began his clinical fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital and currently works part-time in outpatient care and per diem in acute care settings. Fred’s clinical focus includes voice and swallowing disorders, with particular expertise in treating patients with head and neck cancer. He recently collaborated with the NYU Swallowing Lab on innovative research involving modified barium swallow exams, bolus measurement, bolus clearance ratio, and other objective swallowing parameters. He is actively pursuing further experience as both a clinician and researcher in these areas.
