Dr. Gedeon Deák is a Professor of Cognitive Science at the University of California, San Diego. His research focuses on cognitive development, including infant learning, parent-infant interaction, attention, joint attention, cognitive flexibility, and embodied cognition. His work examines how infants learn to coordinate attention with caregivers, follow gaze and pointing cues, engage with objects, and use social information to support learning and communication.
