Haley Jones, CAE, is the Senior Manager of Member Engagement at a trade association in Alexandria, VA. In her role, she oversees the state network council program, consults with affiliated state chapters, and leads both internal and external diversity and inclusion efforts. Haley’s areas of expertise include volunteer management and leadership development, and she is especially committed to enhancing engagement among members from underrepresented groups.
With over 15 years of experience in the association community, Haley previously served as the Volunteer Operations Manager at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) from 2011 to 2019. At ASHA, she managed nominations and elections for the Board of Directors and Advisory Councils, and led multiple leadership development and mentoring programs—including the ASAE Gold Circle Award-winning ASHA Leadership Academy. She also staffed the Ad Hoc Committee on the Next Generation, where she helped develop initiatives to support early-career professionals through leadership and volunteer opportunities.
Prior to ASHA, Haley held roles in membership recruitment and retention at the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade, the American Chiropractic Association, and the American Society of Travel Advisors.
A longtime member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Haley earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 2018. She is also an active volunteer with the National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA), a nonprofit dedicated to the prevention, early diagnosis, and successful treatment of blood clots and clot-provoked strokes.
