Jacqueline Towson, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Central Florida, with a joint appointment in the School of Teacher Education. She earned her doctorate from Georgia State University in the Education of Students with Exceptionalities, specializing in Early Childhood Special Education, following 14 years of service in public schools.
Dr. Towson’s research focuses on building the capacity of professionals who work with young children experiencing language impairments and those considered at risk. Her work also explores the scholarship of teaching and learning, with an emphasis on improving outcomes through evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration. Unlimited
