Janine Stiene, MA, CCC-SLP, TSHH, is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicap, and trained Myofunctional Therapist with over 20 years of experience in New York. Her postgraduate coursework is equivalent to doctoral-level training, minus the dissertation. Janine earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University and her MA in Speech Pathology from Hofstra University.
She is the owner and CEO of Long Island Speech and Myofunctional Therapy, which has expanded to nine locations across Long Island, NY. It is the largest privately-owned, insurance-based speech pathology practice on the East Coast and the largest insurance-based myofunctional therapy practice nationwide.
Janine created and trademarked the S.P.O.T. Myofunctional Therapy Program, a proprietary approach exclusive to her practice and clinicians. She is also the Founder and CEO of Spot Pal—the world’s first tongue training appliance designed to promote proper lingual resting posture and eliminate tongue thrust.
In addition to her clinical and entrepreneurial work, Janine hosts the podcast *Why-O-Myo* and co-hosts the series *Talk the Talk*, where she shares insights on speech, myofunctional therapy, and innovation in the field. Unlimited
