Jayanti Ray

Jayanti Ray, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a full professor in the Department of Communication Disorders at Southeast Missouri State University. She earned her degrees, including her PhD, in India in the late 1990s before joining the faculty at Washington State University as an Assistant Professor. After five years there, she transitioned to SMSU, where she has been recognized with the Outstanding Teacher Award (2019) and the Outstanding Researcher Award (2013, 2015, 2017). Dr. Ray’s teaching and research interests span voice disorders, oromyofunctional disorders, cognitive impairments, and neurogenic speech disorders. She has presented extensively at local, state, national, and international conferences on a wide range of topics. Unlimited
