Jennifer Simpson, AuD, CCC-A, is a Clinical Professor and Associate Head of the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) at Purdue University. She teaches and mentors graduate students both in the classroom and in Purdue’s large on-campus clinic, where she brings clinical expertise and academic leadership to the next generation of audiologists.
Dr. Simpson currently serves as President of the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD), where she advocates for excellence in academic and clinical education across the discipline. A long-time volunteer with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), she served as the 2023 ASHA Co-Chair in Audiology, contributing to national initiatives that shape the future of the profession.
