Dr Joanne Steel, PhD, is a lecturer at The University of Newcastle, Australia. She is a practising speech pathologist with over 15 years of research and clinical experience with adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI). Her research focus has been on improving clinical methods for cognitive communication assessment and intervention after TBI.
