Kate, B.SP, CPSP, is a dynamic speech-language pathologist and the founder of SpeechEase, which she launched in Townsville, Australia, while still working full-time in her government role. Recognizing a growing need for speech therapy services in Mackay with the rollout of the NDIS, Kate began offering weekend sessions there—eventually expanding to open a second clinic to meet demand.
She currently serves as Branch Chair for the Queensland Branch of Speech Pathology Australia and is deeply committed to mentoring both early career and senior speech pathologists. As a clinician, Kate is passionate about using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to help clients express themselves fully and authentically, empowering them to show the world who they are and what they know.
