Katherine, MS, CCC-SLP, CAS, BCCS, is a globally experienced speech-language pathologist with a deep commitment to serving individuals with complex communication needs (CCN). She discovered her passion for the field during graduate school and has since worked across Madagascar, South Africa, England, and the United States, bringing a culturally responsive lens to her clinical practice.
Katherine is the founder of *Autism and Brain Institute Inc.*, a private practice, and *Wallisch & Associates Inc.*, a consulting firm dedicated to empowering families and clinicians. Her team of 15 clinicians provides holistic care exclusively to children with CCN, integrating evidence-based strategies with compassionate support.
She serves as a Community Faculty Board Member at the University of Reno School of Medicine and sits on the Development Board for the Brain Injury Research Foundation (BIRF). Her practice is an official partner with BIRF, advancing research and treatment innovations for pediatric brain injuries.
Outside of her professional work, Katherine enjoys horseback riding, snowboarding, and traveling with her two children, embracing adventure and connection in every aspect of life. Unlimited
