Katie is a past president of the Minnesota Speech-Language Hearing Association (MNSHA) and has also served on their Legislative Council. She is an advocate for fellow speech-language pathologists in the areas of workload management and documentation efficiencies. She has been a consultant with the MN Dept. of Education. She is most passionate about helping students develop their language skills as a tool for thought, wonderment, questioning, curiosity…and of course communication.
