MA, CCC-SLP
Kelly, MA, CCC-SLP, is a licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience. She holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University and has cultivated a deep specialization in early intervention and preschool-aged populations. Throughout her career, Kelly has contributed to research on the Complexity Approach, collaborating with Jennifer Tap Richard and Dr. Holly Storkel of the University of Kansas Word Lab to explore its application with early learners. Passionate about bridging clinical practice and research, she brings a practitioner’s lens to studies focused on phonological development and intervention. During a job share in San Diego Unified School District, Kelly and colleague Rebecca Huber co-developed *Kluster Kidz*, a collection of evidence-based therapy materials designed to support speech sound acquisition through music, movement, and storytelling. The program reflects Kelly’s commitment to playful, research-informed learning for young children.
