Kelly has been a licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist for two decades. She holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University. She has a special interest in early intervention and the preschool population. She participated in a research project with Jennifer Tap Richard, looking at the Complexity Approach with the preschool population during her career. Additionally, she participated and collaborated with Dr. Holly Storkel from the University of Kansas, who was part of her Word Lab looking at the complexity approach with early learners. Kelly holds a special interest in bringing the clinical perspective to research studies, specifically looking at the Complexity Approach with preschool and early intervention populations. During a job share opportunity in San Diego Unified, Kelly and Rebecca Huber shared a preschool speech and language caseload. From their time working together, Kluster Kidz was created. Unlimited
