Lauren Murphy Arner, MA, CCC-SLP, is an Associate Director of School Services in Speech-Language Pathology at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Lauren provides consultation to ASHA staff, SLPs, educators, families, and consumers regarding the practice of speech-language pathology in the school setting. Lauren’s clinical interests include developmental language disorder and students who use AAC. Lauren enjoys speaking and writing on professional topics, including interprofessional practice in schools, technology and education, universal design for learning, and neurodiversity. Before coming to ASHA in 2019, Lauren worked in private and public schools, early intervention, pediatric clinics, and private practice in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
