Licia Coceani Paskay, MS, CCC-SLP, was a licensed speech-language pathologist in private practice who treated patients of all ages with swallowing, cognitive, and orofacial myofunctional disorders. She served as an instructor for the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT), teaching both introductory and advanced courses nationwide. Beginning in 2002, she worked at the Marilyn Hilton Multiple Sclerosis Achievement Center (MSAC) at UCLA, where she facilitated cognitive stimulation groups and educational classes known as Cognifitness. Since 1997, she also worked at OPICA Adult Daycare Center in Los Angeles, providing group cognitive stimulation for individuals with high functional levels and early memory loss through the Brain Train Program, as well as delivering in-services for staff, caregivers, and the general public.
