Marina Shipilova
MS, CCC-SLP
Before moving to the US in 2005, Marina Shipilova, MS, CCC-SLP, majored in the English and German languages in Russia. While she was working as a children’s tutor for English, a coworker recommended that she study the field of speech-language pathology. In 2014 she saw that dream come to fruition when she graduated from Seton Hall University in New Jersey and started working in a rehabilitation center as a speech-language pathologist. Since 2015, she has had the joy of working in Early Intervention, predominately with bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese-English) families. Marina, who holds her “More Than Words’ certification from Hanen, places significant emphasis on a child-centered naturalistic approach to early intervention. In the fall of 2022, Marina will be hosting “Empowering the Caregiver” workshops for caregivers of little ones receiving early intervention services in New Jersey. She is currently working closely with interpreters to have these courses translated in Spanish and Portuguese. Unlimited
