Marina Shipilova
MS, CCC-SLP
Marina Shipilova, MS, CCC-SLP, is a bilingual speech-language pathologist with a passion for supporting families through early intervention. Originally from Russia, Marina majored in English and German languages before moving to the United States in 2005. Inspired by a colleague while working as a children’s English tutor, she pursued speech-language pathology and earned her master’s degree from Seton Hall University in 2014. Marina began her clinical career in a rehabilitation center and, since 2015, has focused on early intervention, working primarily with bilingual Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking families. She holds a “More Than Words” certification from the Hanen Centre and emphasizes a child-centered, naturalistic approach to therapy. In fall 2022, Marina launched the “Empowering the Caregiver” workshop series for families receiving early intervention services in New Jersey. She is actively collaborating with interpreters to make these workshops accessible in Spanish and Portuguese, reflecting her commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive care.
