Megan Whelan, M.S. CCC-SLP, COM is a Pediatric SLP, and the owner and director of NWA Speech Therapy, LLC. Megan holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is a Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM). Megan received her bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her master’s in communications sciences Disorders from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. Megan is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IOAM). She is a multiple recipient of the ASHA’s Award for Continuing Education (ACE) for professionals who demonstrate their commitment to lifelong learning. Megan has been practicing in the field of Speech Pathology for ten years. Megan specializes in speech sound disorders, language delays, and myofunctional disorders. She has worked in private practice, in an Autism program, and as a preschool and elementary school-based speech pathologist.
