Megan Whelan, MS, CCC-SLP, COM/QOM, is a pediatric speech-language pathologist and the owner/director of *NWA Speech Therapy, LLC*. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA and is a Certified Orofacial Myologist through the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IOAM). Megan earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Missouri–Columbia and her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.
With ten years of clinical experience, Megan specializes in speech sound disorders, language delays, and myofunctional disorders. Her diverse background includes work in private practice, autism programs, and preschool and elementary school settings, with professional experience spanning Colorado, Arkansas, Connecticut, and Ohio.
A multiple recipient of ASHA’s Award for Continuing Education (ACE), Megan is committed to lifelong learning and evidence-based care.
