Mehreen Kakwan, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist, national speaker, and children’s author and illustrator of ""Billy Gets Talking"" and ""Let’s Get Talking"". With 14 years of clinical experience spanning outpatient pediatrics, schools, and private practice, she specializes in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Mehreen spoke at the 2025 ASHA Centennial Convention on the growing role of AI in speech-language pathology.
