Melissa Davis, MS, CCC-SLP, is the owner of Speech Therapy for Kids and co-owner of Kids Therapy Spot, with clinics in Starkville and Columbus, MS. Melissa received her bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from Middle Tennessee State University in May 2000 and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Mississippi University for Women in May 2002. From 2002 to 2009, Melissa worked for two rehab companies, providing speech therapy services in homes and daycares for children in the early intervention program. In January 2010, Melissa went into private practice and now has outpatient clinics in Starkville and Columbus, MS. In addition to these clinics, her company also contracts speech therapy services at three Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) facilities and private schools in Starkville.
During her years of practice, Melissa developed a passion for providing feeding therapy to children, and this is now her specialization. She is a treating SLP at the Kids Therapy Spot Starkville and Columbus clinics and consults on feeding patients at the Meridian, Columbus, and Starkville PPECs. Unlimited
