Melissa Montiel is a pediatric speech pathologist at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She has a BS from Auburn University and her MS from MUSC. She has been practicing for 10 years and been an active member of the cleft/VPI team for 9 years. She sees a variety of patients, including acute care and outpatient populations. Melissa has been to El Salvador and Africa with the Global Smile Foundation to assist with cleft care in areas with limited access. Annually, she enjoys travelling to the American Cleft Palate Association meetings for up to date research and treatment practices. Unlimited
