Melissa, MA, CCC-SLP, has been a Speech-Language Pathologist in Plano ISD for 17 years. She began her career at the high school level and has worked with students of all ages across a variety of settings. Her passion for supporting students with significant and complex communication needs was sparked early on, thanks to inspiring mentors and remarkable students.
Seven years ago, Melissa joined her district’s assistive technology team, where she continues to live her passion every day. She is deeply committed to ensuring that every student has a voice and access to an effective communication system.
