Michael Tomasello PhD

Dr. Michael Tomasello is Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University and former Co-Director of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. His research has transformed our understanding of language development, cooperation, social cognition, and what makes human thinking unique. He is the author of numerous influential books, including Constructing a Language, Becoming Human, and his recent book Agency and Cognitive Development.
