Mollie G. Mindel, MS, CCC-SLP, ATACP, is an AT/AAC Specialist for Contra Costa SELPA in the SF Bay Area of California. She received her M.S. in Communicative Disorders from San Francisco State University, specializing in AAC. She has worked in special education as an AAC Specialist for 13 years. Mollie’s passion is helping students and families receive culturally responsive AAC services and collaborating to find solutions to communication barriers. Her professional focus is on AT/AAC program development, professional training, and mentorship of professionals seeking to learn more about AAC, as well as directly supporting students with complex communication needs on their AAC journey.
