Rabab Rangwala, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a medical speech-language pathologist originally from Mumbai, India. She earned her PhD at Northwestern University, where she conducted research on dysphagia under the mentorship of Dr. Bonnie Martin-Harris. Rabab has clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and currently serves as the lab manager in Dr. Sundarrajan’s lab at San Francisco State University. Her research interests include dysphagia and its impact on individuals with Parkinson’s disease, as well as voice therapy for the transgender population. Outside of her professional work, Rabab is a mental health advocate, yoga enthusiast, and avid traveler.
