Rachel Chalom
MS, CCC-SLP
Rachel Chalom, MS, CCC-SLP, is an autistic speech-language pathologist and the founder of Choose Kind Therapy, a neurodiversity-affirming practice dedicated to supporting autistic individuals and gestalt language processors with kindness, curiosity, and zero pressure to conform. Drawing on her own lived experience as an autistic person, Rachel brings a deeply personal and authentic perspective to her work. She understands firsthand the nuances, challenges, and unique ways autistic people may communicate and regulate emotions. This lived experience fuels her passion for creating therapy spaces where children are not just seen as clients, but truly recognized and honored as whole, complex humans with their own voices and stories. Rachel believes that when therapy is grounded in respect, trust, and empathy, children are empowered to grow and express themselves on their own terms—without the pressure to mask or fit into narrow expectations.
