Rebecca Robbins
MS, CCC-SLP
Rebecca Robbins, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist who has dedicated her 16-year career to supporting children, young adults, and families impacted by autism. She has worked across a variety of settings, including a private school for children with autism, Early Intervention and Preschool agencies, and public schools. Rebecca is the founder of Mind Shaper SLP, LLC, where she provides 1:1 speech therapy, executive functioning and life skills coaching for teens and young adults, hosts Buddy Group social groups for ages 8–25, offers parent consultation services, and leads online parent training programs. Her current programs teach parents how to foster communication at home using tools like social stories, visual schedules, and her proprietary hand cues protocol for non-speaking or minimally verbal children. She is trained in multiple autism treatment methodologies, including relationship development techniques, and is a certified Hanen Centre More Than Words® practitioner. Her areas of expertise include autism, apraxia, executive functioning, feeding therapy, mindfulness, augmentative communication and assistive technology, and parent training. Rebecca lives in Pennsylvania and provides services in The Hudson Valley, NY and Montgomery County, PA. Outside of her clinical work, she is passionate about theatre arts—performing in regional productions, directing children’s musicals, and infusing her sessions and videos with dramatic flair.
