Sarah Tucker PT, NCS, AIT, BRM
"Sarah Tucker, MPT, is a physical therapist with over 17 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation and 8 years in outpatient neurological therapy. She earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, in 2002 and has spent her entire clinical career in Newport News, Virginia. Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals with a wide range of neurological and complex medical conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputations, and progressive neurological disorders. She maintains a strong focus on functional mobility, with an emphasis on improving life participation beyond the clinic. In addition to direct patient care, she has consistently sought to build stronger connections between rehabilitation services and community-based resources, recognizing the gap many patients face following discharge. This focus on continuity of care and long-term outcomes has been a driving force in her professional work. She is also the founder of Uncharted Adaptive Fitness, a gym-based, one-on-one fitness program serving individuals with neurological conditions and complex medical histories. Through this work, she applies her background in physical therapy to support individuals transitioning from rehabilitation to long-term, community-based fitness, with a continued focus on functional independence and sustained participation."
